Upload Your Product Feed into Native & Search¶
This section describes the steps you need to follow in order to upload your product feed.
At this time, only the FTP protocol is supported for Feed URL submission. If the you are unable to provide an FTP for feed submission or provide an attachment for upload, your Native & Search account team can create an account on our Yahoo-branded FTP solution.
The FTP protocol will be discontinued beginning on 1/17/2018. See the section below for details on the new requirements for use of FTPS and download the FAQ, which is a PDF that provides you with additional information. Reach out to your account team if you have other questions.
Follow these steps to upload your product feed into Native & Search:
- Click the New Feed button on the Product feeds tab of the Product catalog page.
- Enter the FTP Feed URL, Filenames, FTP User name and password.
- Select the feed processing frequency. The frequency options include daily, weekly, and one-time only.
- Click Create.
When adding multiple filenames, enter one per line. Max of 5 filenames are allowed. A separate feed will be created for each file
Important Change to Dropbox.yahoo.com - Required Use of FTPS¶
All dropbox.yahoo.com and asia-dropbox.yahoo.com connections will require the use of FTPS (FTP over TLS). Support for FTP will be discontinued. All client file transfers will require an explicit FTPS connection (rather an implicit FTPS connection).
FTPS will be required beginning 1/17/2018. Advertisers are advised to switch to FTPS beforehand to test their systems and processes.
