Suggestion: insert/replace for yml:form

yml:a's insert and replace attributes are great for no-hassle ajax. What are the chances that yml:form can get them?

(It must be roughly as common to want to retrieve some content via ajax when a user fills in an input field and clicks a button as it is to retrieve some content via ajax when a user clicks a link.)

Thanks,
Jared

  • I just discovered that, although undocumented, they already work.

To save others the time I wasted looking for workarounds, please consider updating:

  • Hi Jared,

I've submitted a change request bug to have that documentation updated (bug #2691583 in case you need to refer back to it). This functionality must have been rolled out in our last revision and there was a communication issue between the teams.

    Thanks again,
    Jon
