  • I spoke with the Y!OS team and they agreed that for general questions, you'd probably be better discussing OpenSocial at the OpenSocial forums here: http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial?pli=1 This helps keep the discussion in one place, creating a more complete knowledge base.

    For Yahoo!-specific OpenSocial items, I hope most can be covered in our Y!OS Forums: http://developer.yahoo.net/forum/index.php?showforum=36

    Please let me know if those are not adequate and I'll talk to the team again to see if another forum is needed.

  • Are you looking for a place to discuss Open Social issues in general or those related to Yahoo! only?

  • 1) Google OpenSocial Group didn't list Yahoo
    http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial?pli=1

    # Container-specific Developer Forums
    * OpenSocial on Orkut
    * OpenSocial on Ning
    * OpenSocial on Hi5
    * OpenSocial on Plaxo

    2) YDN OpenSocial Forum should include new category on YML
    http://developer.yahoo.net/forum/index.php?showforum=36
    I can't make things pretty with certain YML tags on Small View using YML Lite

    3) Error on documentation
    http://developer.yahoo.com/yap/yml/index.html page
    yml:visible-to-owner
    yml:visible-to-user

    Both items linked to the same page
    http://developer.yahoo.com/yap/yml/visible-to-user.html

    4) Sam's email listed on his powerpoint presentation at OpenSocial Summit is incorrect.

    5) Suggest YDN to list Forum on i) YDN navigation drop down menu ii) Community page
    http://developer.yahoo.com/community/

  • Any limitation on how often I can save code and preview the Small View?

    Any daily limitation per Yahoo account?

    I have been getting error. Possible causes: 1) Yahoo is updating related code and API 2) I reach my daily limit 3) Yahoo is releasing code this morning

    I have been able to save the code but I can't display it. It was working for good part of morning and then it start having viewing problem. I can't view small view and canvas view.

    I still get this error when I put plain text

    Error
    There was a problem processing your request.

  • Suggestion:

    Can you display more meaningful friendly error on Preview from Small View and Canvas View?

    example:
    updating your platform, please visit shortly
    refresh your browser
    remove your cookie

    This is a painful way to debug when this is the only way developer can test our code.
