RegEx - how to Insert a hexadeciaml or octal character

Hello.

Is there any way to insert a hexadecimal or octal character in the RegEx module? I tried the backslash notation (\x00, \000, \n) but the backslash is ignored.

Thanks!

  • Oops, I forgot.

    Here it is: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.edit?_id=d5283c06352fac264894e4af42b1f8e2

Switch to "source" and look at the "ul" attribute in the fourth line. (not counting empty lines)

  • Ah, I see what you're trying to do. No you cannot use hex encoding in the replacement string. In your particular example you can just type in a space.
