get_request_token fails with File not found error

I am trying following link:
https://api.login.yahoo.com/oauth/v2/get_re...tamp=1305832800 &oauth_consumer_key=dj0yJmk9cW92VTE3V0FNc0o4JmQ9WVdrOVkzazBObFZvTTJVbWNHbzlNV
E00TWprNE5qTTJNZy0tJnM9Y29uc3VtZXJzZWNyZXQmeD1iMg--&oauth_signature_method=plaintext&oauth_signature=9f222f08961cd9c1a06c05f9d468731dcaeda524%26&oauth_version=1.0&xoauth_lang_pref="en-us"&oauth_callback="http://calllotfail-lx.eglbp.corp.yahoo.com/"

I am getting File not found issue. I get the same message if I just do the following:
https://api.login.yahoo.com/oauth/v2/get_request_token

Is there any issue in server or let me know If I am doing something wrong.

Regards,
Ashok

  • I am having the exact same problem, i try to connect here:

    https://api.login.yahoo.com/oauth/v2/get_token

and boom, file not found. What is weird is that if you replace v2 with V# (ie, v1, v9999, v23235) a page at least comes up. Its like something specifically broke at that url.

I don't see how we can do oauth authentication until this has been fixed.

  • UPDATE:
When inspecting the headers i get back a
"OAuth oauth_problem=signature_invalid" error. Not sure what to do about this yet

  • finally got it, went back over the parameters with a fine tooth comb and finally got it to work. I wish Yahoo would make the error responses a little more user friendly.
