AuthURL

Hi All,

I'm receiving an error while retrieving contacts from Yahoo. My program is able to fetch contacts if i run it from US servers. But if i run the same program in Singapore servers then it gives me error.

After request token when i try to get the HttpPage the url comes as

"https://edit.yahoo.com/config/replica_agree?.done=https%3a//api.login.yahoo.com/oauth/v2/request_auth%3foauth_token=kcjccer%26.intl=us%26crumb=&.scrumb=dt0QzNcxrQl"

Is it correct URL ? On US servers the URL returned is like

What is this replica_agree URL ? Can anybody explain.

Thanks & Regards
Gaurav

The api.login.y.c is the correct URL.

The replica agree page shows up when you registered from a different place, but try to login from a different place. Here is the text in the page: "We can increase site speed and efficiency for you by copying your user information (which may include sensitive data) to one of our servers in . Please note that privacy protections provided by may be different from those provided by your country. For more information about how Yahoo! treats your information, check out our privacy policies."

Basically the page says that it tries to copy your data to server to the same region you are located in. (in this case, it is from US to singapore). Once you go the UI and accept / reject this, it should not be prompted again.

  • Hi Gaurav,

Is it possible for you to provide the information on how to
try the flow with your SG server? You can send the information
to yuwang AT yahoo-inc.com if you don't want to share that
    publicly.

    Thanks,
    Yu Wang
