Play Two Videos Widget tutorial - 1st video plays, 2nd does not

Hi,
does anyone have the same issue ?
- Ubuntu VM 10.04
- latest simulator
- I've checked both urls, and tried with other urls, same result, the 2nd video never starts, when the first video is over then the widget goes back to the side-view.

Some of the output regarding the video that does not start :

Setting networkinput to url: http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.p...00&tech=wmp
TVPL 00:00:12:744: [T:6763] [ Playlist ()] Constructor using inUri = [ http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.p...00&tech=wmp ], passing it to _loadPlaylist()
TVPL 00:00:12:744: [T:6763] [ _loadPlaylist ()] using uri http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.p...00&tech=wmp as input.
TVPL 00:00:12:744: [T:6763] [ _loadPlaylist ()] Recursion level (S) = 1
TVPL 00:00:12:744: [T:6763] [ _loadPlaylist ()] PlayList file http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.p...00&tech=wmp has unknown format/extension.
[0:02:15:734 6753] shutdown 'http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.php?node_id=12101875&bitrate=300&tech=wmp'

based on this one my think the problem is the extension but same message is for the 1st video and still plays :

TVPL 00:02:11:818: [T:6763] [ _loadPlaylist ()] PlayList file http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/getPlaylist.p...00&tech=wmp has unknown format/extension.

Is there any know problem with 10.04 ? Shouldn't the 2nd video in the list ( api.js) just play right after the 1st is over?

Thanks for the help!

There aren't any known issues with 10.04.

Are you using the sample media player widget? How did you set up your dev environment? What version of the wdk are you using?

Are you using the sample media player widget?
Yes, that one, untouch, out of the box, has the same behavior:the "two videos" plays the 1st video and ends right before the 2nd video

How did you set up your dev environment?
    I followed these steps :

    1. Install the 7-Zip open source utility to uncompress archives.
    2. Download and uncompress the Ubuntu 10.04 Linux VM distributed by Yahoo! Connected TV.
    3. Run the virtual machine, and install the YWE-WDK Debian software package on the VM.
    4. Install your widgets in the /devwidgets root directory for shared development.
    5. Start the TV Simulator.

What version of the wdk are you using?
    - WDK 1.2.15
    - Virtual Box 4.0.4 Mac OSX

  • This is a bug. I had a ticket put in for it, and it's been fixed. We'll have a patch for it available soon.

    Thanks for reporting this.

  • This bug has been fixed and the update to the WDK has been deployed. Make sure you are using the WDK version 1.2.16. The old version was 1.2.15.
