So I'm trying to use a png image with a transparent background inside a button. The thing is while the image is transparent (except for the white triangle) it looks like the theme adds some treatment to the image so that it gets an additional gradient. I thought using KONtx.element.Image would remove this but that doesn't work. Is there someway to remove those gradients so that the transparency isn't affected?
The gradient is added by the KONtx.control.button. If you don't want the default styling, use KONtx.element.button. They are virtually identical, the main difference being on is styled and the other is not.
If you see the implementation for KONtx.control.PageIndicator, it uses the themes ControlPageIndicator and ControlPageIndicatorTextLink, which are defined in ~/YCTV-ADK/YCTV-SIM-Latest/data/Overlay/Script/Framework/kontx/1.5/src/core/theme.js and look like the following:
So, you may either override these themes in your widget or create a new theme based on this theme and create a new page indicator using this theme by extending the original page indicator. You can also refer the related discussions:
