KONtx.videoplayer.states

Does anybody know what state '7' is?

From the documentation:

states: {
INIT : -1,
PLAY : 0,
PAUSE : 1,
FORWARD : 2,
REWIND : 3,
STOP : 4,
BUFFERING : 5,
EOF: 8,
UNKNOWN : 9,
ERROR : 10
}

The states we're seeing are: -1 => 5 => 7 => 0

  • It should be a confirmation that the "Buffering" is complete or "full" and the player is moving to play the file.

    Semantically, yes, but the exact definition of state 7 is INFOLOADED. This means that the header information has been loaded and the video can now be parsed correctly. I've updated video.js for the next Framework drop to include this information.
