Yahoo Rest Search with Wildcard character

Deal All

I am using Yahoo REST Web Search. From yahoo site we understand that I can use '*' for
wildcard searching. But '*' is used for an entire word. My requirement is wildcard search
by single characters (we use ? for this in DOS : ex : dir app.e?? lists all files that have a 3 letter extension and the extensions starts with the character 'e'. i.e it lists files app.exe, app.ens, app.epx .... ). Can I do such a filtering using Yahoo REST API.

My actual requirement is given below:

Year 200#
: exclude result that contains word ‘Year 200’ followed by any single digit.

Year @ 200#
: exclude result that contains word ‘Year @ 200’ followed by any single digit.

@ Year 200#
: exclude result that contains word ‘@ Year 200’ followed by any single digit.

Year ####
: exclude result that contains word ‘Year ’ followed by any 4 digits.

Year @ ####
: exclude result that contains word ‘Year @’ followed by any 4 digits.

@ Year ####
: exclude result that contains word ‘@ Year’ followed by any 4 digits.

Kindly let me know whether this is possible with Yahoo REST API or not.

Thanks in advance
Albert
