Scheduled Reports

You can schedule recurring Report Builder, Domain Stats, or Pixel Fires reports. Before you can schedule a report, you need to run the report once using a standard date range.

Run a Report

You run reports by making a selection from the sub-menu that appears when you click the Insights tab.

To run a report:

  1. From the DSP Insights tab, select one of the following subtabs: Report Builder, Domain Stats, or Pixel Fires.

  2. Click the Date Range field to show the date range options.

  3. Select a standard date range from the dropdown list.

    Note

    You can run a report with a custom date range, but scheduling reports only works with a standard date range.

  4. Set up any dimensions, metrics, filters, or other settings for the type of report you are creating. See the following sections for details on each report type:

Set Up the Report Schedule

After you run a report once, you can set up the report schedule.

To set up the report schedule:

  1. For the report you want to schedule, run the report once.

    You see your report output.

  2. Click the small clock icon in the upper-right corner.

    You see the Schedule Report overlay.

  3. In the Schedule Report overlay, do the following:

    • Type a name for the scheduled report.
    • Enter the email addresses of up to 10 recipients (separated by a comma).
    • Select your time zone.
    • Set the frequency with which you want the recurring report to be sent.
    • For End Date, select the last day you want to receive the recurring report. The latest end date you can schedule is 90 days from the date you schedule the report.

    Tip

    If you want to send the report every week on the same day, select a Weekly frequency and choose the day you want it sent.

  4. Click Save.

Manage Scheduled Reports

You can remove or edit your report schedules, and export report data.

To edit reports:

  1. From DSP, click the Insights tab.

  2. Select the Scheduled Reports subtab.

    You see a list of reports you have scheduled.

  3. To edit a scheduled report, click the pencil icon in the Actions column.

  4. In the Schedule Report overlay, you can edit the following settings:

    • Type a new name for the report.
    • Add, remove, or edit email recipients.
    • Select a new time zone.
    • Change the frequency with which the report is sent.
    • Change the end date for the scheduled report.

    Note

    To remove a scheduled report, click the trash can icon in the Actions column.

  5. Click Save.

Export a Report

You can export data to a CSV file from a report you create in Report Builder, Domain Stats, or Pixel Fires.

To export a report:

  1. Run the type of report you want to export data from. For information on running reports, see the following sections:

  1. Click the Export button on the right side, above the report.

  2. Open the CSV file in the lower-left corner of your browser window.
