Device ID Audiences

A device ID audience is based on a list of Apple iOS Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) Ids, or Google Play Advertising Ids (GPADVIDs) that you upload to DSP and use for line targeting.

Later, after you build the audience, you can expand the device ID audience size by using it as a seed audience for a lookalike audience. For details, check out the Lookalike Audiences audience help page.

Build a Device ID Audience

Before you upload the device Ids, prepare a CSV or TXT file where each Id is on its own line.

To build a device ID audience:

  1. Navigate to the advertiser-level Audiences page.

If you need help, check out navigate-to-the-advertiser-audiences-page.

Note

You can only build a device ID audience for one advertiser at a time, not for an entire seat.

Device ID audiences take about 24 hours to populate.

DSP builds the device ID audience if at least 80% of the device IDs upload without errors. However, DSP will discard any lines with errors. If errors are found with more than 20% of the lines, the upload does not occur.
