Manage Users

As a seatholder, you should designate an initial administrator with User Ops privileges. The initial administrator creates platform users; manages user roles; and edits and removes users as needed.

Note

A user can have multiple roles.

DSP User Roles

DSP supports the following roles:

  • Ad Operations. People responsible for booking campaigns, serving, targeting, and reporting on the performance of online advertisements.
  • Advertiser Manager. People who need to access to certain advertisers in a seat so that they can manage those advertisers.
  • Advertiser Report. People that only need reporting access for a few advertisers.
  • Publisher Ops. People who oversee supply relationships and pricing, and manage private marketplace deals.
  • Seat Ops. People who manage settings for a seat, such as billing and contract details.
  • Seat Read Only. People who want “read only” access to all campaigns, and the ability to run reports.
  • User Ops. Initial administrators who set up users and manage access controls.

The following table shows the tasks that each role can perform.
