r3 translation list [ location
]
Displays a list of all sources and their corresponding
translations for location. If you don't
specify location, the command displays all
the translations in the generic pages along with their (generic)
locations. If you give a partial location (product only, or
product/intl with no page), the command displays generic page
translations whose locations match the partial location. Here is a
sample output from this command:
$ r3 translation list
cars/ca
Container: Container [i] [u]
cookery/ca
beef: boeuf [i]
cookery/fr
beef: boeuf
Note the [i]
and [u] indicators in the ouptut:
[i] indicates the term is an inherited
term
[u] indicates the translation is
unapproved; that is, it's not yet approved. For example, a
translator might have used the r3 GUI to flag the translation as needing
more work, or might have imported it via a bulk load of a XLIFF
file and has not yet checked it.
So, in this example, the term Container
for the car/ca site is inherited, and also it is
unapproved. The term beef under cookery/ca
has inherited a translation (beouf), and that translation
is approved. Finally, under cookery/fr, we see that term
beef has been translated to boeuf, and it is
not an inherited translation. In this manner you can get a quick
overview of the status of your terms, with regard to
translation.
