Chapter 1. Introduction
Using the Yahoo! Blueprint Platform
Blueprint allows third-party developers to distribute custom content and services that are accessible from any standard Web browser. Once published, Blueprint applications can be found using the search facility on Yahoo!'s mobile homepage.
Yahoo! mobile applications are written with an XML markup set called Blueprint and are hosted on your own Web server, where, in addition to information content for the application, you can use server-side scripting to provide any needed logic. For information about the Blueprint language and related topics, see the Blueprint Language Guide.
A completed application must be packaged with configuration files, submitted, and approved for publication.
