Yahoo! HotJobs web services can be used to post, edit, refresh, and delete public and private job ads. Use the API to manage your job ads in real-time. Or use the HotJobs RSS feed to present relevant jobs to your users on your own site.

Using the HotJobs API

Overview

The Yahoo! HotJobs Web Services operates via HTTP requests. Requests are formed by starting with a service endpoint URL, and then results are returned by the service in XML format which varies per service. Applications can use these services by submitting a request, fetching the response, and parsing the returned XML and extracting the required information.

HotJobs Web Services

Authentication
The Authentication web service allows you to log in with a user’s email address and password.

Job Post
Job Post allows you to post job ads on HotJobs in real time.

Job Edit
Job Edit allows for modifying the job ad, taking down a posted job or posting a not-posted job.

Job Refresh
Allows you to refresh a public HotJobs job ads in real time.

Job Delete
Allows you to delete an existing job that you have posted.
