WikiBot searches for the most relevant snippet of information from Wikipedia to answer questions from the user. We extracted keywords from input and searched articles on Wikipedia. A heuristic function is used to weight the relevance of each piece of information, according to the type of question, keywords commonly found together, and related parts of speech. We compared our keywords with a database of common English words to focus on the information the user most likely intended to find.

This project uses various YAHOO! services to allow users to create chat rooms based on their countries, their counties and even their cities.
