Yahoo Email Address verification

Hi,

I read the documentation of the api looking for a way to identify if a yahoo email address exists.

Does someone know if it is possible to find out (without sending an email and waiting for the response)? Yahoo mailservers are always responding with "250" (OK) so I see no chance to verify with smtp.

  • No it is not possible. If the id doesn't exits you would get a bounce back.
