Yahoo mail api's today doesn't support any push mail notification but there are ways for you to do it. It will anyway be a pull-push kind of strategy but with a very minimum or no delay and user not doing a pull. It depends more on how you design it but there is no default api for push notifications. Is it possible to do any kind of "push" email with the Yahoo mail api? Ideally I'd like some way to build a push email client that gets notified whenever the user receives a new email message.
