Commercial Use Clarification

Hello,

I am a bit confused on commercial usage for YQL. On http://developer.yahoo.com/yql/ it clearly says "YQL can be used for commercial purposes", but in the full YQL TOS is says in the "You Shall Not" section "Sell, lease, share, transfer, or sublicense YQL or derive income from the use of YQL in conjunction with Yahoo! APIs or other web services, whether for direct commercial or monetary gain or otherwise, without Yahoo!'s prior, express, written permission;".

So, what is the deal with commercial use then? We have to obtain written permission first? I'd like to use YQL on a site of mine that's free for anyone to browse and does not charge any one to see data, it just makes money from advertisements on it.

Any clarification would be appreciated.

    Hi Tom,

    I also have the question about charging for an app that uses YQL API to get fantasy stats, but there are other services we want to integrate and need to charge for this, so if we cant charge it may take the fun out of developing what we are doing for yahoo fantasy sports, very cool.
