Extend YQL weather forecast

Hi,

I'm looking for two parameters for the YQL weather:

-Translate the results (Sun -> Soleil (fr-FR))
-Add more than two days in the forecast...

Anyone know how to do this in the request?

Thanks;

Ivan

  • Hi,

For the first one you can use your own translations. Use babelfish for getting translations and use a templating system such as http://developer.yahoo.com/r3/

There might be some other way. Will let others pitch in.

    Thanks,

  • The team is aware that this is something people want, but since part of our goal is to have users come back to the Yahoo! Weather site, giving more than 2 days may not be something that we decide to implement. However, because they are aware of the demand for this feature, they are mulling over whether or not to add the feature to a future release.

If I hear anything more, I'll let you know.

  • Hi robyn,

this is an old question but I currently have the same "problem" regarding the 2 day forecast.
It would be great to have a forecast for 5-days. You wrote that your team maybe will implement this feature in one of the next releases.
And I would like to ask if we can access this feature at the moment?

    Cheers :)

  • Yes, I am also interested to know if it has been added.

Do you know anything about this?
