can google adsense be used in the gadget files

i didnt see any documentation or forum questions about this

  • Unfortunately Caja (our front-end code securer) will restrict the JavaScript include from adsense. The last time I tried this out Caja spit back numerous errors. If Google provided a Caja safe version of AdSense then it could be integrated into YAP.

    mr leblanc, does yahoo have something similar in function to google adsense that can be embedded into the gadget?

  • We do have an ad product but it has not been integrated into YAP. The majority of developers who implement ads within their applications will tend to use static ads, flash ads or use JavaScript light ad networks to bypass Caja rendering issues.

    I have no experience, using static ads, flash ads, or javascript light ad networks. Is there any chance of a slight tutorial?
