Yahoo WDK TabView Suggestion

Tabs do not behave as the user expect as the tab header shifts left instead being highlighted without being shifted (see the weather app for an example when you switch between Current Conditions and 5-days forecast). Tabs used my application behave the same.

The finance application shows a work around to that using buttons (on the homepage) but you have to click although a select element could trigger a grid update. Shall I go this way just to work around the unatural tab selection? Seems like a pity so I suggest that tab behave in the way user expects if you think (I hope) it's worth an improvement ticket for future releases (note that I do not know if behaviour is still the same with YPR10).

Other than that, the framework is great!

Cheers,

Yann

  • Thank you Yann - I'm trying to figure out the platform / site you are referring to here. Is this on My Yahoo! under YAP? The home page?
