The updates that the api from any source I have seen in my facebook profile only changes when a submission occurs. Facebook is hardly working on it because their advertisements are top-notch. I believe the facebook platform would not change thus far because individuals that use api's have choices that make no further compromises because they are a part of facebook's growing community. Others have more centralized api's because facebook is a user-based community. If facebook releases a newer version the api's still actually are user allocated which means changes that are api based either need updates from the facebook criteria but forums are more popular towards the user's mode of api, but the updates is still a function that does not materialize.
