It just happened again. What I posted didn't appear exactly as I typed the punctuation marks before I posted the comment....Why? Why?

Even now the above information didn't post correctly.  Apostrophies and quotation marks post as &......&.........&.  The word don't prints on yahoo update alerts as don&t. The problem happens electronically when Yahoo Updates prints comments with apostrophies and quotation marks so I try to avoid using them.

Why wont yahoo correct the technical problem that occurs when apostrophies and quotation marksare typed. they dont post as apostrophies or quotation marks but instead post as &.For example don't will be posted as don&t. This has been going on for months and the people at yahoo have ZERO
brains not tomake the technical correction necessary to solve the problem or even let the public know they are aware of theproblem!Yahoo, Facebook and other social media entities are in way over their heads when it comes to dealing directly with customer problems. They cant do it. This forum is unacceptable for most issues. So why be in business if you cant deal with it andinsteadrun away from people who want to contact you?

I had just started a project to build some tools for yahoo mail that would utilize the social apis, like updates, contacts, connections, etc. However, with the recent removal of updates, status, and connections from the yahoo mail interface, the shutting down of Pulse, I'm confused aboutwhetherYahoo plans on supporting social networking as part of the Yahoo! world, or possibly just rely on Facebook integration. For example, there is this recent statement from a Yahoo forum:

As part of Yahoo!'s commitment to creating deeply personal digital experiences, we have been reprioritizing our current portfolio of products, services, and features so that we can refocus on our core strengths in content and personalization at mass scale, and reimagining them into new, contextually compelling, and relevant mobile experiences. After careful consideration, Yahoo! will no longer offer the Blueprint Apps service as of July 7th, 2011.

So somebody is communicating something about the inner decisions. I haven't seen a statement, though, regarding the social connection stuff. There is a general statement issued to users of Pulse / Profile, which hints that the social element is gone:

• Theres no updates feed.
• There are two privacy levels: public (visible to everyone) and private (visible only to you).
• Any profile information you had with the connections privacy level is now converted to private.

first, I guess everything returned from social.updates.search should stick to the same schema. correct?

So, what is the schema? What I see from a couple of example is different from what is defined here

You fail to run the sample query on that webpage because there is no max_date field.

SELECT * FROM social.updates.search WHERE min_date=1267401600 AND max_date=1267747200 AND query="iPhone" AND language="zh"

Did anyone has experience with this stuff before? I tried to create a new update by using yql and rest api , but both methods are failed ;"(, The response message was : "The remote server returned an error: (501) Not Implemented ".
I tried to google this thing, but I can't find any good explaination event in this forum. ;"(
Could anyone please help me out ;"(

And one more thing, I tried to the user's update information like exactly the update infor in Yahoo Mail(in update Tab) but I can't find any yql query or rest api return me that thing ;"( , are there anyone working with this stuff,?!

I get an "Internal Server error" when i try to retrieve updates for a user or his connections. I have set the right permissions on my project and I can get other information like User profiles and connections.
Any ideas?
