I have added an event with eventid :- 8134327 using event.add() API
I had added tags to the same event id using event.addTags() API that responds with the xml as per API description.

But when I tried using event.removeTag() API, trying removing the same tag I added it's response is nothing and neither there is any exception. So does this API not working correctly? as because I am not missing any parameter values neither passing some wrong values.

So please guide me with the same.

We just pushed a fix for this; category_id should now be populated normally again. Let us know if you see any other issues.

Here's an update on our API situation:

Yesterday, we pushed a change to bypass mobile redirection for all paths applicable to API authentication. I tested this change out w/ Happening and it looks good to me, but can you take a look as well? (Note that if it doesn't work at first, you *may* have to clear Mobile Safari's cache & cookies.)

FYI, while playing with the app yesterday, we found another bug in our API related to friends' events. But other functionality such as watch/attend and My Events look good from my end.

Sorry for the radio silence on this, as I can understand it's frustrating. We're actually working on a change to avoid mobile redirection for users going through our authentication flow, as well as a few other issues, and we hope to have it out soon.

Any news on this? I'm going to have to remove the app from sale later this week, as I can't conscienciously have the app on the store in a broken state, despite the broken state being entirely out of my control.

Hey, I'm a fairly new developer so forgive me if the answer to my problem is simple, but I don't see any way around it. So I'm building a little mashup for a class that combines a forecast and a list of sporting events when a location is entered. I'm pulling the weather from the weather underground API on YQL and the events from the Upcoming API through YQL as well. I have no problem pulling the forecast info from the JSON returned by weather underground, but I can't pull anything from the Upcoming JSON because it seems to me like since the events are labeled "event", I can't call it via javascript because it's a restricted keyword obviously. Sorry if I'm confusing you, here's some code if it helps. Thanks

The API seems to have started returning "Array" as the value of "category_id" when calling group.getEvents. I'm testing this with group_id 4730

For Happening, I send the user off to authenticate with Upcoming, however the new auto-detect script kicks in on Authentication pages and redirects the user to the new Upcoming mobile site. Is there any chance you guys could remove the user-agent sniffing for the sign-in process (or let me know of an iOS-user-agent-safe URL to use instead)?

one hour ago i realised that suddenly the value of the category_id is missing, before everything was well ...

what happened? i would like to get the category_id without further methods and parsing. why is the value suddenly missing?
