Lloyd,
For me the problem still isn't solved. I'm still getting the following error message(s) when I try to attache files with Browserplus:
Error loading Yahoo! Mail Attachment Uploader
Click again on the Attach button to use regular uploader. Error Message:
Problem starting services: could not attain corelet
I've sent you a logfile one week ago, but I didn't get an answer yet. Were you able to do anything with it?
I'm not a jalous type, but it seems that you're answering to everybody but me. Is there a reason for it, or are you not getting my messages?
I would like to (re)explain the problem, hoping that you will be able to help solving it:
I have 14 pc's (a small internet café) running with Windows XP and IE8, and the problem is the same on each pc.
Each pc has two accounts, one for the administrator and one limited account for the users.
On the administrator account, Browserplus works fine, no problem.
On the user account it keeps on giving the (above) error message.
It doesn't matter if the user account has limited rights or admin rights. In both cases the Browserplus services (such as Upload, FileAcces and ImageAlt) won't install. When I click on "Attach", it looks like those services are being installed, but finally they don't.
When I go to your web page "browserplus.yahoo.com" to check those services, they are not installed. Even clicking on "install service" doesn't install it. It initially looks like they're getting installed, but when I close the Browser and re-open it, the services appear as non-installed again.
Again, all these problems only appear in the user account (with limited -or admin rights), while it's working ok on the administrator account(s).
It is starting to be VERY annoying and I'm starting to loose the good reputation of my internet cafe, because my clients are getting these error messages on their screens and they think that it's because of my computers. PLEASE HELP!
Hi John,
Thanks for your patience, and I understand how frustrating this is for you.
We *did* receive your logfile, and it's been the topic of much conversation the last week. Unfotunately there is no "smoking gun" to explain why things are not working. From the logfile, everything actually looks good. Given however your extended description of the problem, there's a couple more possible avenues to explore.
Some things I want to confirm.
1. When you visit
http://browserplus.yahoo.com on one of the machines/user accounts you're having trouble with you should see that browserplus is installed (there should be a version number in the upper left hand corner

2. If that's done, we need to figure out why you cannot install services. Please open up a browser, and visit yahoo mail to reproduce the service installation problems. Now, leave that browser alone, and open up the BrowserPlus configuration panel in
2a. start -> All Programs -> BrowserPlus -> Configure BrowserPlus
2b. Enter the trouble shooting tab, type something that will let me recognize it's you, and click send
Here's a screenshot that gives you a step by step walkthrough:

Very best,
