I looked at my profile page and there is a big white square with nothing on it sitting on my profile picture. How do I get rid of it? Actually I just want the picture showing, but if you just leave my name with the purple little square that is fine.

It did ask me to click to make the attaching experience better, I didnt realize it was going to add more than that. Now I cannot delete any emails, they reappear after a minute or two. and I cannot access my folders on the left side of my yahoo mail. So all of my saved emails are essentially gone, if I cant open them. What Happened Yahoo? Is there a customer support phone number for yahoo mail?

If I have read the explanation for browserplus correctly, and it is possible that I have not, what does making upload speed improvements have to do with recording website visits? I do not see the connection. Also, why is it that I cannot choose not to install this program and do a classic slow upload? It is my time after all, not yours.

It may be true that Yahoo, using its current protocols, will not be able to identify me personally with my web traffic it is recording. However, anyone able to get my UUID will be able to do so. With open source code that might be accomplished without your knowledge, and is likely to be done so. But regardless there will be ways to link my browsing with me, quite simply the UUID.

I know that regardless of your intentions, we all know about the paving of roads and such, Yahoo did not give me a choice when I need to send an attachment. You held me hostage with your tracking software in exchange for my file attachment. That is more than modestly deceptive, it is what I call coersion.

A few days ago I shut my computer off and all was well. I turned it on the next day and the anti-virus program was not working, my camera software did not work. I went to the controls and found this Browser Plus.
It is my computer and I do not want anyone deciding that something they worked on is great and something I should have and installing it on MY pc.
The old Yahoo mail was much better than this current mess. I liked the emoticoms stretched out and not crammed in a square box. I liked the set up of the mail the way it was. I liked the ease of attaching files and now its a hassle.
I do not want Browser Plus on my PC ever again and if it means I have to transfer to another email provider then that is what I will do. Your intent "may" have been okay but its not welcome in the least.

WTF! this addon makes my email usable...I am on a Mac OS x 10.6.8, using firefox...the damn Browseplus doesnt show in my plug in list but ever since I installed i just get the yelllow warning bar that it only runs in 32 bit...how do i delete the damn thing?

When I click on an e-mail box nothing happens. When I finally have a list to delete , it turns grey and says to try again or restart yahoomail. It just going on this way. I am using Firefox and I have Windows Vista.

it keeps freezing then a black arrow took over and was moving the page by it self somehing is wrong i went to another web site thur my yahoo mail and it started freezing up!!?

YSlow tells me that ETag is misconfigured or missing.
As you can see the ETag headers matches but somehow it's ignored as the server is returning a Last-Modified extra header as it seems ignoring the check.
Is YSlow warning me about the extra header even if the cached ETag match the Response header or its something that I'm missing?

As far my knowledge goes there are probably two issues, an extra header sent by the server and YSlow probably considering this as a protocol violation but giving a wrong warning message?

I run nearly all the time as a regular user, not Admin, on Windows XP, IE8. I succumbed to the offer to install Yahoo Browser Plus for easier photo upload. Unfortunately the install did not like something or other and bombed partway through. I did not record the error message. Something about a timeout.

Now Browser Plus is partly installed. It periodically asks permission to connect through the Symantec firewall. But there's no Browser Control Panel entry in All Programs, under the user login or the admin login. And there's no entry in Add/Remove Programs under either the user or admin logins. And your website status says it is not installed. So I cannot uninstall it. There are several registry hits for Yahoo Browser Plus, but I am not about to start randomly deleting them without guidance.

So I tried installing again--several times--both as a user and as Admin--with Symantec enabled and disabled. None of the attempts succeeded. The HDD accesses a few times and there's a little ethernet traffic and then it quietly stops, hanging that browser instance.

It appears to me that the programmers are doing something backwards if they are writing Run Once registry keys before the uninstall has completed. What do they expect will happen on a failed install? And the reinstall is not robust if it cannot complete in the presence of a failed install.

And it appears that no one ever bothered to test the cases of an install in user (not admin) mode or an install where one or more transaction was blocked by a lost packet or firewall. You do test it, right?

How can I fully remove Yahoo Browser Plus.

Hi there, I am trying to drag and drop files, or thumbnails, from Windows 7 explorer into yahoo mail and it doesn't work. I tried uninstalling browser plus, and re-installing the latest browser plus available on the Yahoo site, but that did not help. I tried rebooting, but then my wireless network card could not find any wireless networks! Only fix was to disable Browser Plus and reboot. After rebooting, I could find the wireless networks and re-establish internet connection. Then I re-enabled browser plus, but it still won't drag and drop. Can anyone offer some advise on how to solve this problem?Sheng

Why isn't this resolved? It has been 2 years. Come on Yahoo it is a simple fix and yet a very disgraceful error for Yahoo.

Why can I attach photos to yahoo mail using Google Chrome (not using drag/drop) and am unable to attach using IE or Firefox?. When I try to attach using IE or Firefox, the box comes up but I can only attach the file name, not a picture within the file. There must be something missing in IE and Firefox.

For about a month now, Yahoo! won't acknowledge that I am logged into my account and allow me to rate or comment on most of the articles. I can read other peoples comments, but I can't participate in the dialogue. Whenever I try, Yahoo! wants me to enter my password. Although my screen name is always present, it won't hold the password. This has become VERY annoying!

So what are the plans and prices?
I'm interested in using it for my android app.
