Yahoo Browserplus conflict with Mcafee

Just had to uninstall Telecom Xtra yahoo promail browserplus as the same Telcom provided Mcafee antivirus appears to have a conflicts such that the add attachment tool failed. Using the Yahoo error prompts which gives a 'switch' option I am now able to upload attachments as per old classic style again. Not sure if the fault is from Mcafee or Yahoo but either one must have updated yesterday and they dont play together very well at all.
I've reinstalled Mcafee, ensured browserplus is not installed and the PC (win7 64bit) is running back perfectly as usual. Would like a heads up if its safe to reactivate this add on.
