Hello
Taskkill appears not to be available under my Windows XP. This is required to restart BrowserPlus.

  • Hello Francisco,

You may use the "restart browserplus" button in the control panel mentioned here:
    http://browserplus.yahoo.com/developer/service/tutorial/

Or, also in that tutorial we briefly discuss "Developer Mode" which would alleviate the need to restart BrowserPlus while developing services.

    Hope this helps,

  • NativeSample question...

I built it, installed it, restarted the "BrowserPlus Control Panel" and have the "SampleService" shown in the "services" list.

The test link shown in readme.txt file, http://browserplus.yahoo.com/developer/explorer/, is invalid.

    So I tried http://browserplus.yahoo.com/developer/services/

But the list on the left does not show "SampleService".

How do I fix this? Or is there another test page I can use to test the "SampleService" c++ sample?

    Thanks.

    Hi liuj66,

I'll fix that broken link. As far as seeing the service, click on "activated" within the service explorer. That will show you all locally installed services regardless of wether they're actually available on the distro server.

Lemme know if this works, as an aside we have a looong list of desired improvements to the explorer web app... so holler with your own requests. after we get this next iteration of the platform out we'll have to steal some time to make that thing more intuitive and useful.

    best,

    Hi Lloyd,

    Clicking on "activated" worked. Thanks!
