I was just able to download the
VM using FF 3.5, and unzip it using the built-in Archive Utility on my Mac w/ OS X 10.5.
How are you getting the file? What unzip tools and OS are you using?

Cannot unzip hadoop-vm-appliance-0-18-0.zip. It seems the zip file is corrupted and it happens every time i download. Also tried it using various zip utilities. Any help or suggestions ......
