getting error 999 for all shopping apis

from "Product Search API v3 " page - http://developer.yahoo.com/shopping/V3/productSearch.html -
I tried several example URLs and for every url I am getting "Sorry, Unable to process request at this time -- error 999. "

f.e. http://shopping.yahooapis.com/ShoppingServ...p;query=erector

My product relies on yahoo shopping API. It was working as desired 4-5 months ago, but not any more..

What have changed and what can I do about this?

  • I just ran a test with the URL you have provided in the example (just replaced the app id with my own) and I did not have an issue retrieving search results from the shopping api. Is this still an issue for you?
