Yahoo pulse redirects when I logon Facebook

Many times when I try to logon Facebook, I get redirected to Pulse instead. Even when typing into the address bar, I get a redirect. Would like to completely disable Pulse. Does this mean I quit Yahoo? Is there another way to disable Pulse without leaving Yahoo? I've been with Yahoo over 10 years and enjoy my e-mail address.

    In addition, it seems like the server is not responding! I miss the old Yahoo! Why did they mess with something that has worked since yahoo started!
