Yahoo Weather RSS shoing °F units only

Hi,

just to let you know since today, the RSS Feed for weather.yahoo.com has an issue.
Normal web page displaying ok but the RSS Feed is only displaying values in Fahrenheit.

Example:
http://weather.yahooapis.com/forecastrss?w=12835061&u=c

should display "Celsius" but displays wrong values
Current Conditions:
Fair, 77 C

Forecast:
Thu - Clear. High: 80 Low: 62
Fri - Sunny. High: 91 Low: 65

Obvoiusly it is a hot summer in Germany - but not That hot 77 C :-)

  • Same issue here; we suddenly have Fahrenheit temperatures on two of our clients websites, despite of specifying the Celsius units.

    obviously, someone has a problem with the heat somewhere. :)Anke, Holland

    In the Example seccion: http://weather.yahooapis.com/forecastrss?w=615702&u=c

    showing F ignoring the u=c var on URL

    Adding +1 to this; it's producing some interesting results, that's for sure!

  • +1, this is affecting my feeds for my weather app. Please fix.

  • Maybe some debug information: when refreshing the RSS-feed a couple of times with u=c, most of the times I get wrong results (ie. Fahrenheit values), but sometimes I do get the right results (ie. Celsius values).

    It looks like this service is load balanced and most servers are affected, but a couple are working ok.

  • it looks like this issue has been resolved. my site was also effected, but is now displaying both C and F values correctly.

  • Just confirmed with the internal Weather team that a fix for this problem is being developed and tested. I'll update back here once it goes into production.
