I might be missing something but I can't find an easy way to embed a simple Yahoo map (no AJAX-y thumbtacks or anything, just a simple map pointing out one address) into a web page in the way that Google Maps and Mapquest allow. They even readily provide the HTML code for you to use. I'll admit that maybe Yahoo does allow this and I just haven't seen it yet but I have looked quite a bit.
I'm not a Maps expert, I work on the Developer Network, but I did some digging and I don't think we offer that option. The only thing I could find is this Help article on linking to a Map: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/maps/usin...balmaps-09.html
Thanks. I think I can use that. However, it seems like the Yahoo! Maps people would want to make an easier way for people to embed simple maps in their pages. Then we might not just be seeing Google Maps all over the place. Just a thought.
