API Key Creation Failed

Hi,
I'm trying to generate a developer key but after having filled all fields of the form I receive the following message:

API Key Creation Failed
There was an internal error that caused a failure over here. Please try again.

What's wrong?

  • There could be a number of reasons for this:
    • IP addresses for the domain name are not allowed
    • You cannot use custom ports in the URL (e.g. http://www.test.com:8080/index.php)
    • You cannot use the words Yahoo or Y! in the application title or description


    If none of those are the reason, can you please post the information that you adding in to the form when creating the app? We would need the app url, domain url, title, description, etc.

    Same problem here... Whats wrong?
    Tried many variation: Name/Description Test.. Favicon works too: http://www.nrw-forum.de/favicon.gif

    Please help !!!
