YQL has a table to be able to convert a YID (those e-mail identifiers) over to a GUID. Here's a link to the console to run that query: http://y.ahoo.it/p+zl/MIK (Just hit test).

Can this be automated?  Meaning, I just want to find out uid of a Yahoo email within my program (not web based).  Do I still have to go through OAuth?  If yes, can I do OAuth without requiring user login?  I have been trying to get this to work for a while without any success.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
