I am finding that towns are being reported as neighborhood's of a city, rather than cities themselves.
The town I am looking for is Red Cliffs, Victoria, Australia and this is returned as a neighborhood of the city "Cullulleraine". Cullulleraine is barely a blip on a map and more than 50kms from Red Cliffs, though they share a post code. It is common in Australia for regional towns to share a postcode but this does not mean they are the same city. Is this usual of the placefinder api? Towns are grouped together as parts of a city if they share the same postcode? This obviously does not make any sense for Australia towns.
I can work around it by using the neighborhood if it is returned and the city otherwise, but that's a hack that stops me from showing suburbs and cities correctly.
