How to get proper Australian Address?

The website I'm working on will have users from across the globe.  I was testing out the placefinder with a friend's address from Australia, but it seems to be doing something wrong or I'm putting in the URL wrong.  In his address, there is a 1 / 7.  I forget what they mean, but one of them is for the floor or something like that.  Anyways, when I put in the url, I have tested my own US address with my Key to make sure my key works, it did.  So then I went to put in his address and it's only showing the 1, not 1 / 7.  I have tried "...1+/+7..." and "...1+%2F+7..." and "...1%2F7..." and none of them work.  I'm wondering if this is a problem with the code or if there is a specific way around this.  Any information is appreciated.  Thank you very much.
