Yahoo sign out

anonymous12 Mar 2009 1:35 PM
How can I sign users out of Yahoo that have signed in using open id? When a user signs in using a Google account, I create a hidden IFRAME and redirect to "https://www.google.com/accounts/Logout" and use javascript to wait for 5 sec, and then sign the user out of my site.

But I can't find a Yahoo sign out link that works. I have tried "https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?logout=1" and "https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?logout=1&.src=openid&.intl=us". Both show a page that says the user is signed out, but when I click the sign in using Yahoo button, the user doesn't need to enter username and password.

I need to sign users out from Yahoo, because many of our users use a shared computer, and forget to sign out from Yahoo as well.

We don't officially support this feature, but opening a hidden iframe to https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?logout=1 should log the user out of Yahoo.
