Yahoo OpenId does work on my site

Yahoo OpenID used to work fine on our site http://www.rightdealrightnow.com/campaignm...l?v=1.0.0412.04, recently, I changed the openid.realm to *.rightdealrightnow.com from www.rightdealrightnow.com, it stop working. Below is the url used by our site to request identity authentication from Yahoo OP, unfortunately, an error page is displayed, which says "Sorry! There is an error with the request we received from the website you are trying to use. Please try again in a few minutes. If this error persists please contact the site administrator. "

I know our site is not following Yadis spec to expose a XRDS document, but that should lead to the sign in page with an warning message displayed, instead of this error page. By the way, If I simply change the openid. realm of the previous url to anything else, for example, *.abc.com, and change the return url accordingly, it works without any issue.
I am totally confused, anybody can shed some light on my puzzle?

  • Hi guangcaiw,

It is important that your XRDS document lists the all the open.return_to's
matching case by case: "Authenticate" is different from "authenticate".
