Domain Not Verified Warning Message

Hi,

I am trying to understand why we are still getting the 'Domain Not Verified' warning message when users authenticate with oauth?

Within the developer portal, the domain www.boxbe.com is verified (and shows as such), but then when a user is sent to Yahoo to authenticate, they are still shown the 'not verified' warning prompt.

I have confirmed that after the user authenticates, they are redirected back to the www.boxbe.com website and everything works correctly, so I am quite confused as why the warning is being shown.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

  • To follow up:

It seems the issue is I created the project as a client/desktop project, instead of a web-based project.  The problem is, I have already had 475+ users register under my existing oauth consumer key/secret and re-creating the project would invalidate those access tokens and require all of those users to re-authenticate. This just isn't an option...

Is there any way that my project type can't be changed without regenerating the consumer key and secret? Or some flag be set that will not show that warning prompt? Since the domain has clearly been validated.

    Thanks again for any help.

  • Chris, this is a common question here in the forums.  Perhaps a search of previous posts could offer some help?
