I have just purchased new Samsung for demonstration of our Widget. Does this model support Yahoo Widgets and if so how do you install. We are testing on the B650 no problem seems C models 2010 models do not have same support.

Thanks

On my C750 you have to run the Samsung internet@TV thing, then launch the Yahoo App from within that, then you get access to the widgets.

Its a rubbish way to do it.

Sorry, complain to Samsung.

We have found one of the best TV's for demoing is a Vizio. The platform is more front/center and you can get a 22' version that is really light weight.

Hi, I got this UA46C8000 Samsung TV, I tried to look for Yahoo App from Internet TV but I can't. Any other way that i can try launching Yahoo Widgets so that i can do some development work. I need the answers asap. Thanks.

The Samsung 2010 models include the Samsung Internet@TV and Yahoo! Connected TV service as well as models with just the Samsung Internet@TV service, which is what you have. The Yahoo! Connected TV platform is the most distributed platform available and continues to be a very engaging service for users. Please make sure the device supports our service before purchasing one for development. In the US, one easy way to confirm this is to look at the remote. If the remote has a Yahoo! button then it supports our platform. Please note that D-Link will be releasing a stand-alone set-top that includes the Y! Connected TV service mid year, so look out for this release as well.
