Read those days about Google-TV, based on Android. Rumors say Google will present it on the Google I/O conference in San Francisco on May 19 and 20.
For what I read, it seems that Google have signed partnership agreements with Sony and Intel to develop this Android-based TV.

I wonder what does it mean for Sony. Will they still be involved in the Yahoo! platform? Or will they have in the future models which support Yahoo! Connected TV and other models which will support Google TV? Or maybe both platforms will be supported in the same TV models, being transparent to consumers on which platform are running the widgets they use?

Similar questions are applicable to Intel.

I read also in this link http://venturebeat.com/2010/04/26/samsung-...?obref=obinsite that maybe Samsung is also considering Google-TV. Although that at this moment is just a not confirmed rumor.

Google may be an important rival, but certainly it is one and a half years behind Yahoo!

Hope nobody is uncomfortable because talking about this. But given that this is a forum about business, I consider it an adequate place.
