Missing video ids

I've noticed in searches many videos are returned without ids. Does this just indicate the videos cannot be played? Or is it a bug?

Try even the example search like this to see the results.

Many results are like this one.

  • You are correct. We don't have the legal rights to embed those videos off-network. We're sincerely hoping those content providers reverse their decision on this, but for now we cannot expose their IDs.

    Since many of the videos do not have IDs for embedding off-network, is there a way to do a search that ONLY returns videos with valid IDs?

    good idea! usually i only want to search the valid ID videos, because of the aim of embedding.
