I installed Yahoo Messager (Andriod version) on my Galaxy Nexus. To my surprise, the standby time drops signicantly. To find the reason, I did tcpdump at device and captured power chart with power monitor from Monsoon. Here is the observation:

Yahoo server - prod2.rest-notify.msg.yahoo.com - is sending tcp keepalive per minute! It's wrong and signicantly drains battery!

Could you help to fix it?
