[Ask] About 5000 daily unique user

QUOTE
Your use of the Yahoo! Messenger IM SDK should not exceed 5,000 daily unique users. If you believe your application will exceed such volume, please contact us.

After reading SDK's limitation, i'm just curious what'll happened if someone's application reached more than 5000 daily unique user (assuming that that person ignoring yahoo's notification to use commercial agreement) ? Will that application terminated ?
I'm currently still using open source's openymsg library and commercial third party library...
Is that limitation only for official IM SDK ?
Thanks smile.gif

  • The 5000 user limit applies to the Messenger IM SDK. If you exceed the daily limit, Yahoo! may ask that you enter into a commercial agreement. Yahoo! will not stop service if you exceed the limit. We want as many users on your application as you do.

  • I understand the 5000 user per day limit, my question is with regard to time between messages. I am looking at creating a bot that will send 4-5 messages back to a user who initiated the session. Is there a limit to how fast these messages are sent back to the user or no limit at all?
