backend fetch error 999

API call to retrieve review details for a local business was working fine, I am not making a lot of calls...maybe 50/day so there should no problem with quota, and it was working fine too.

Now, I am getting this error

{"Error":{"Title":"The following errors were detected:","Message":["backend fetch error 999"]}}

It works intermittently, say 10% of the time and fails more often.

Please help! What am I supposed to do about this?

    I found a way around this error. I can tell you how to correct this if you email me.

  • Same bug here..

    API Says that rare limit is 5000 calls ... but it stopped at 360th call..

    And the error report does not give any vital information regarding the nature of the error.
    That is we dont know the actual cause of this error , if it is because of
    1. Quata Limit?
    2. IP blocked?
    3. Yahoo server bug?


    It really unfortunate to have this funny error message....

    SOS Please help.........ASAP....
