I am trying to get some base knowledge for a hack I would like to do and was tinkering with the Yahoo Local API.
http://local.yahooapis.com/LocalSearchServ...+IL&DEBUG=1I am querying on the address of one of the McDonalds locations, but it is not the first result is not the one at the address I give in “location”.
I tried adding sort=distance and got even more bizarre results that seem to have nothing to do with McDonalds. The ResultSetMapUrl gives a different strange set of results, with the top results being in different states entirely.
Has anyone else worked more with this API and might have an idea what is happening here?
