Not Returning Results

Hi,

The query that used work has stopped working. I get the following response. I even tried the URI (http://local.yahooapis.com/LocalSearchService/V3/localSearch?appid=YahooDemo&query=pizza&zip=94306&results=2) from Docs returns no results in the response.

"ResultSet":{"totalResultsAvailable":"0","totalResultsReturned":"0","firstResultPosition":"1","ResultSetMapUrl":""}}

Is the service down for some reason? If yes when is it going to be back online?

  • The API was working yesterday but it stopped working this morning (3/27). It returns 0 results no matter what parameter you have in the query. It seems the API server is not able to connect to database anymore.

    Can someone at Yahoo report this vital issue to responsible departments so they can fix it ASAP?

  • Yahoo Local BE team (biz listings) identified the problem. This only happens on Sundays. :) It'll be fixed this week.

  • Hi, I'm not getting any result in Australia for any businesses.

    http://local.yahooapis.com/LocalSearchService/V3/localSearch?appid=YahooDemo&query=mcdonalds&latitude=-35&longitude=149&results=20&output=json

    (I have changed the coordinates for security purposes, but am still not getting results).

    Do these searches work in Australia at all?
